The Business Administration Office serves as a liaison between school district business offices and various California state departments, other county offices of education in the state, and other Alameda County agencies. Business services include:

  • Provide overall direction/leadership for the ACOE in business related areas
  • Provide financial advice to Alameda County school districts
  • Host/Chair Alameda County school districts’ Chief Business Official (CBO) meeting
  • Host/Chair Region IV & V County CBO Meetings
  • Risk Management Services
    Property Loss Claims, Certificates of Insurance for ACOE
  • Coordinate/Host satellite broadcasts for school districts
  • Provide Notary Services to the ACOE, school districts and public
  • Online Bargaining Website available for school district administration use only
  • Lead Agency for Region IV SB352 CBO Education Partnership Training Program
  • Charter School Oversight and Monitoring
