The Business Administration Office serves as a liaison between school district business offices and various California state departments, other county offices of education in the state, and other Alameda County agencies. Business services include:
- Provide overall direction/leadership for the ACOE in business related areas
- Provide financial advice to Alameda County school districts
- Host/Chair Alameda County school districts’ Chief Business Official (CBO) meeting
- Host/Chair Region IV & V County CBO Meetings
- Risk Management Services
Property Loss Claims, Certificates of Insurance for ACOE
- Coordinate/Host satellite broadcasts for school districts
- Provide Notary Services to the ACOE, school districts and public
- Online Bargaining Website available for school district administration use only
- Lead Agency for Region IV SB352 CBO Education Partnership Training Program
- Charter School Oversight and Monitoring
