Region IV Technical Assistance is located at the Alameda County Office of Education. It is funded by a grant from the California Department of Education to provide training and technical assistance to programs funded by the state After-School Education and Safety Program (ASES) and 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) within the seven Bay Area counties. Region IV Technical Assistance works with grantees both at the district and the site levels, and at every stage of program development-from planning to implementation, and ultimately to support sustainable programs. Alameda County Office of Education coordinates technical assistance services and resources that are available in Region IV in association with several other entities. It also leverages and provides training and services to districts, school sites, and practitioners. Visit afterschool.acoe.org for resources and services.
