The MAP (Model Arts Programs) Network was created in 2000 to support the arts learning needs of each of Alameda's 18 school districts based on the individual district’s current phase of planning or implementation. Each year’s collaboration deepens the County Office’s relationship to the 18 school districts as they move towards sustainable high quality arts learning for every child in every school, every day. The Alliance provides districts with mentoring, facilitation and technical assistance in the areas of planning, professional development, advocacy and policy and resources development.
