Strategic and Intensive Mathematics Initiative - Phase 2 (SIMI-2)
The Strategic and Intensive Mathematics Initiative is a partnership among:
- Alameda County Office of Education Educational Services Division
- Alameda County Office of Education Student Programs and Services Division
- Hayward Unified School District
- Alameda Unified School District
- California State University East Bay
SIMI-2 provides summer institutes and classroom coaching support for Grade 3 through 7, and is funded by a grant from the California Mathematics and Science Partnership of the California Department of Education. It is a replication of the initial SIMI grant, which supported Grade 5 through Algebra I in the same partnership of districts.
