A new Spanish-language newspaper, Visión Hispana, has set aside space for the Alameda County Office of Education to have a column in its weekly newspaper.
Visión Hispana is distributed free on Saturdays in Oakland, San Jose and San Francisco.
The partnership was spearheaded by Alameda County Board of Education Trustee Felix Elizalde, who is constantly looking for new ways to inform people about the resources and services available at the County Office of Education.
You can reach Visión Hispana's publisher, Elena Miramar, at (510) 865-6274 or send an e-mail to contact@VisionHispanaUSA.com. You can also write to the newspaper at 1151 Harbor Bay Pkwy, Ste. 206, Alameda, CA 94502. Comments about the columns can be directed to askacoe@acoe.org.
