• COVID-19 Vaccines for School Staff

Due to the collaborative efforts of the Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE) and the Alameda County Public Health Department (ACPHD), virtually all TK-12 education personnel in Alameda County have been offered the opportunity to receive a COVID-19 vaccine since the education sector became eligible within Phase 1B in Alameda County on February 8.

Both targeted and widespread outreach efforts have been conducted by ACOE in partnership with ACPHD, the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) over the past few weeks to secure vaccination appointments for education staff in public and private schools across the county. Initial outreach efforts were specifically targeted to staff from schools in zip codes identified by the county as most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Education personnel in Alameda County who are still seeking a vaccination appointment can find resources on this page for assistance securing an appointment.
