• Early Education Teacher Development Grant

EETD Grant Purpose

  • The purpose of the Early Education Teacher Development (EETD) Grant is:

    • to plan for the increased number of teachers needed to fully implement Universal PreKindergarten
    • to strengthen district capacity to successfully implement early learning programs by strengthening specific competencies for early educators within CSPP, TK, or Kindergarten (K) programs

The EETD grant provides tuition reimbursements, credentialing reimbursements, and professional development training to educators to permit them to teach in Preschool and TK settings. In addition, the EETD grant also funds efforts between ACOE and school districts to implement best practices and strengthen the alignment in Pre-K through 3rd grade instruction.
