Under the LCSSP grant, the ACOE RAAP team serves as the lead agency for a consortium focused on reducing Chronic Absenteeism and Suspension that includes Alameda USD, Berkeley USD, San Leandro USD, Emery USD, and San Lorenzo USD.

In bimonthly meetings, participants choose a data focus, complete asset mapping and root cause analyses, then perform Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles to gain hands-on experience building data use and continuous improvement capacity. They are also able to share strategic knowledge, software and hardware expertise, and samples of tools they use for communicating with educational partners, as well as work through problems of practice with peers, aiding and benefiting from the knowledge of other districts.
