    Project Pathways

Project Pathways connects students in court, community, and continuation schools with community colleges, workforce development boards, and CBOs to build pathways aligned with educational goals and employment needs.

The R4 grant (Resilient Youth Ready to Learn, Ready for Work, Ready for Life) is part of a larger ACOE project called Project Pathways. ACOE serves as the R4 fiscal agent and local educational agency for our collaboration between the 21 court, community, and continuation schools; participating community colleges; regional workforce development boards; and local CBOs in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. Through the R4 initiative, we are building Career and College Pathways aligned with regional employment needs. Our vision is that all youth participate and flourish in Career and College Pathway programs that lead to wellness and economic empowerment. Through participation in Project Pathways, youth ultimately learn, earn, lead, live, and thrive.
