Professional Development at ACOE
The Alameda County Office of Education offers a variety of professional development opportunities for early learning educators, TK-12 teachers, and administrators to expand their skills and increase effectiveness in the schools and districts they serve. We provide a broad range of training and coaching support for all educators, including on-site and online workshops, professional certification, and summer institutes.

BRIC (Break, Reinvent, Impact, Change) is seeking 45 creative students ages 18 and up looking to take part in a virtual creative experience. During the six-week-long internship, students will work in small groups to create an original concept for a television show, movie, or video game and will pitch their project to development executives and creators.

The City of San Leandro, Department of Engineering and Transportation, is looking for two student interns that are excited to learn and gain experience in Civil Engineering. The internship is entry-level and meant to provide a valuable hands-on experience to students interested in becoming registered professional engineers. Training is provided. San Leandro residents and Civil Engineering curriculum is highly preferred.

Protocafe, a Newark, CA based, industry leader in 3D printing, rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing, is looking for six interns interested in gaining hands-on experience in the 3D printing industry. The internship can be tailored to expertise and interests that include design, hands on fabrication, model finishing, machine operation, testing, documentation. Training is provided.
