ACOE’s Core Learning Department supports the implementation of the California state standards (English Language Arts and Literacy, Mathematics, English Language Development, and Next Generation Science Standards) adopted  in 2010.

Core Learning hosts professional development opportunities for districts and schools and collaborates with leaders on strategic planning to successfully implement Common Core and new assessments.
