The Alameda County Office of Education is transitioning from serving as the Local Program Coordinator of ACSA’s Clear Administrative Credentialing Program (CACP) to offering its very own program. We look forward to enrolling candidates upon approval from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
What changes with ACOE’s program?
The excellent support for educators pursuing their Clear Administrative Services Credential continues as does the overall structure of the program. The future program will be further aligned with ACOE’s organizational mission and vision. Alameda County is one of the most diverse counties in the state. We want to provide job-embedded services that support that diversity. We also wish to establish programs that train and develop leaders specifically around the issues of equity and equitable practices. The ACOE CACP program will allow us to do this even better.
Who should participate?
Current administrators who possess a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential and are in a position requiring an administrative credential are eligible to apply. Any new administrators hired by districts must enroll in a Clear Induction Administrative Credential Program within 30 days of employment.
What are the components of ACOE’s new Clear Administrative Credential Program? What are the program requirements?
The Candidate Manual explains the program components, as well as the anticipated requirements for admission and program completion. A Verification of Employment form will need to be submitted along with the other admission materials.
