ACOE equips our students with the skills to thrive by preparing educators to serve them. We are actively applying to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) to become an approved sponsor of educator preparation programs. We will support educators in earning the following credentials:
- Preliminary Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential
- Clear Administrative Services Credential
Our programs will be housed in our newly founded College of Education. We anticipate the programs being approved by the CCTC in 2019 and the College of Education offering coursework sometime in 2019-2020.
We are not enrolling students into the CTE program at this time. However, we would like to hear from you and keep you posted with the most current information about the start of our program. Click on the following link for more information about the CTE credential program and to complete our interest form.
ACOE is currently providing a Clear Administrative Credential program in partnership with the Association of California School Administrators. Upon receiving approval from the CCTC, we will be operating our program independently as part of our College of Education.
Third-party Information Showing Satisfaction with Educator Preparation Offerings at ACOE

Interested parties are invited to submit comments to the Commission at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of professional education programs offered, and should specify the party's relationship to the institution (i.e., graduate, present or former faculty member, employer of graduates). All identifying information will remain confidential.
