    The Student Services Division collaborates with school districts and partner agencies across Alameda County to ensure that students in Alameda County have access to a robust and coordinated system of supports.
    The Student Services Division provides student support services and technical assistance related to Community Schools, school health services, behavioral and mental health services, prevention programs, transition and attendance supports.

    Student Welfare

    Student Welfare & Attendance 

    The Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE) assists SPaS schools and Alameda County schools and districts in addressing systemic barriers to improve student attendance and decrease student absenteeism, thus enhancing student academic achievement, college and career readiness, and social-emotional well-being. 

    County Community Schools & Partnerships

    At ACOE, we believe that ALL schools can be full service community schools.  Our County Community Schools and Partnership team is here to support the sustainable implementation of the community schools strategy across our county. 


    State Transformational Assistance Center (S-TAC)

    Funded by the California Department of Education, and in partnership with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Californians for Justice, and the National Education Association (NEA), the State Transformational Assistance Center for Community Schools (S-TAC) led by ACOE provides supportive services to planning and implementation grantees funded by the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) throughout the state.

    The Behavioral Health Services Department is dedicated to supporting school based health and wellness needs of all our students. We provide differentiated technical assistance, training and direct health and wellness service

    School Medical Health Billing

    Supporting students and families in Alameda County with financing and sustaining school-based health programs to support blending and braiding of funds for sustainable care on school campuses.
