The Integrated Learning Department provides in-depth professional development to improve student engagement and performance across subject areas through arts-centered integrated learning. We provide coaching and convene networks focused on serving the whole child through equity, social justice, and social-emotional skills.
We are also home to the Region 4 System of Support for Expanded Learning (R4 SSEL), which provides technical assistance to After School Education and Safety (ASES) and 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) to build and sustain quality expanded learning programs in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Solano Counties.
We work in partnership with CREATE Alameda County, the California Department of Education (CDE), and other county offices of education in the California County Superintendents Services Association (CCSESA).
