Alameda County Board of Education
In accordance with the California Education Code and other regulations and laws, the Alameda County Board of Education serves as the governing board for the schools and student services and programs operated by the County Superintendent of Schools. Board organization and responsibilities
Regular meetings of the Board are generally held at 6:30 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month (view schedule) in the Board Room of the Alameda County Office of Education at 313 W. Winton Avenue, Hayward. Any exceptions to the regular schedule are announced through the ACOE website.

Board Meeting Agendas
Agendas must be posted at the County Office building 72 hours before a regular meeting, 24 hours before a special meeting, and 1 hour before an emergency meeting as per the Brown Act. Agendas and other board materials are available to the public at the meeting.
