Bridge Academy is a small community school for students in grades 10-12 who are exiting juvenile detention or can benefit from an alternative educational setting. Bridge Academy provides a safe, supportive space to help students refocus on academics and develop the skills needed to graduate from high school, attend college, and achieve career-readiness.
Bridge Academy provides a high school curriculum aligned with state and district standards, and supports students who have been habitually truant, suspended, or expelled from their home district. We also provide a supportive transition for justice-involved youth to reenter a comprehensive school environment after detainment. We help students to refocus on school and take the necessary steps to be successful.
Bridge Academy students are enrolled for four weeks to one year (maximum). Benchmarks of success are driven by a student's own academic and work goals, and any plan determined by the Juvenile Court.
