At Project re:Fresh, we provide hands-on learning experiences through projects and field trips so that you can refresh your social muscles and academic skills. We are specifically designed around meeting the needs of middle and high school youth impacted by foster care, housing insecurity, or unaccompanied immigration.
Our summer program will be starting this June! Students have the option of choosing between one of our 2, 3 week summer programs. Oakland will be held at Bridge Academy from June 8th-29nd and Hayward will be held at the Matt Jimenez Community Center from July 5th-22nd. Students can also choose between the full day programming OR just the after care hours. During the full day program, we'll be doing a Rocketry unit for three weeks where we will learn about the science and math behind rockets and read and write about our learning!
Students can also expect weekly field trips, elective courses, free lunch, and social support, all for free!
