WELCOME
The Alameda County Office of Education is a Commission on Teacher Credentialing-approved program sponsor of credentialing programs.
ACOE offers two of its own accredited programs: clear administrative services and clear career technical education credentialing. We also provide a teacher residency program in association with the Alder Graduate School of Education. These three core programs and professional development offerings comprise ACOE’s College of Education.
At the College of Education, we develop strong educational leaders so that our students and school communities succeed. Our goals are to:
- Increase student achievement of at-promise youth across the county.
- Equip educators with the tools they need to serve those students.
- Diversify the education workforce at all levels: classified staff, teachers, and administrators.
- End racist practices that keep certain groups on the margins.
- Support the whole child.
The College of Education is growing. We plan to add other credentialing programs soon. Click on the links below to learn about our current offerings.
