The Professional Advancement and Training Hub (P.A.T.H.) provides career pipelines and talent development in service of a skilled, diverse, and stable workforce in our districts and county that mirrors our communities. We target specific staffing gaps disproportionately affecting our focal students and not currently addressed through local programming.

Early Childhood Workforce Pathways

Are you passionate about shaping the future of young learners? Support and empower those dedicated to early learning, strengthening our workforce, and making a lasting impact in our community.

Bachelors Advancement Program

Join other aspiring educators on the path to becoming a teacher! ACOE will help you earn and pay for a Bachelor's degree.

Career Technical Education Credential

Would you like to teach students about the industry you have worked in? Join other new career and technical education (CTE) teachers in this one-year program, which includes coaching.

Clear Path for Leadership (CPAL)

ACOE's Clear Administrative Services Credentialing (CASC) program prepares first and second year school and district leaders to lead equity transformation in schools and departments.

Pathways to Teaching Grant

If you’re a classified or non-certificated staff member dreaming of becoming a TK-12 teacher, the ACOE is here to support you through this grant offering up to $4,512 in annual incentives.

Pre-Credential Program

Designed to support current and future teachers who are not fully credentialed with office hours, transcript reviews, CSET preparation, and application guidance.

Project Para

Become a paraprofessional for school districts in Alameda County and gain firsthand experience supporting the needs of students, including those with special needs.

School Counselor Residency

A countywide partnership with CSU East Bay designed to address critical shortages by training a skilled, diverse counseling workforce ready to meet student needs.

Substitute Pathway (PICT)

Try out teaching and make a difference in your community by becoming a substitute teacher at a local school!

Teacher Induction Program

Clear your preliminary credential through job-embedded, high-impact support and personalized coaching from a skilled mentor focused on equity and growth.

Teacher Residency @ TCSJ

A one-year program dedicated to growing equity-focused, inclusion-minded teachers. Learn alongside a mentor while completing online classes.

Teacher Residency @ Alder GSE

Earn your master's degree and teaching credential through our immersive, one-year teacher residency program. Gain hands-on experience alongside mentors.

Teacher Intern Partnerships Programs

A two-year program designed to help you get a credential while working as a teacher of record with reduced tuition.
